Hallettsville team wins state domino tournament

The Hallettsville team of A.J. Kutac and Clarence Brown won the 60th annual State Domino Tournament on Sunday.
They were among the 90 two-person teams from across the nation competing for top prize in the all-day tournament.
They won $300 for first place.
Other winners were:
Second: Damon Richards, of East Bernard, and Cedrick Johnson, of Conroe. They won $250.
Third: father-son team of David Hernandez, of Victoria, and Charlie Hernandez, of Goliad. They won $200.
Fourth: Gary Keeton and David Mitchell, both of Gatesville. They won $150.
Fifth: Robert Stratmann, of Hallettsville, and Kevin Tesch, of Moulton. They won $100.
