Rain chances linger through the weekend

Victoria received another smattering of rain Thursday.
Though heavy at times in isolated areas, the rain only added up officially to .11 of an inch.
For the month, 2.44 inches of rain has fallen giving Victoria 12 inches for the year.
Friday's forecast calls for
a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.
Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
Partly cloudy Friday night with a low around 73. Southeast wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light east southeast after midnight.
That 20 percent chance of rain stays in place for Saturday and increases to 30 percent on Sunday.
