Crashed

VICTORIA - A 21-year-old Victoria man was transported Wednesday to Citizens Medical Center after his vehicle crashed into a pole in the 1400 block of North Laurent Street. He had medical problems that caused him to lose control of his vehicle, said Victoria Police Officer Herschel Buck.

Arrested

VICTORIA - Lucia Diaz-Guerro, 41, of Victoria, by deputies Tuesday on a warrant charging her with securing the execution of a document by deception.

VICTORIA - A 32-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of criminal trespass.

VICTORIA - A 22-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

VICTORIA - A 64-year-old Cuero man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated with an open container of alcohol.

VICTORIA - Dustin Glenn Schmidt, 37, of Victoria, by officers Tuesday on a warrant charging him with sexual assault.

Burglarized

VICTORIA - A church in the 4200 block of North Ben Jordan Street on Monday. Damages to a garage door valued at $500 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 600 block of West Goodwin Avenue on Tuesday. Electronics valued at $190 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 1600 block of Azalea Street on Monday. A speaker valued at $100 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 4100 block of North John Stockbauer Drive on Monday. Tools and an ice chest valued at $520 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 7000 block of North Navarro Street on Monday. A cooler and drinks valued at $940 were reported stolen.

Stolen

VICTORIA - General merchandise valued at $186.87 from a grocery store in the 1500 block of East Rio Grande Street on Saturday. The merchandise was later recovered.

VICTORIA - A cellphone valued at $90 from a home in the 3000 block of Houston Highway on Saturday.

VICTORIA - Food valued at $31.62 from a restaurant in the 7900 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday.

VICTORIA - Clothing valued at $82.98 from a specialty store in the 8200 block of North Navarro Street on Friday. The clothing was later recovered.

VICTORIA - Miscellaneous merchandise valued at $29.92 from a grocery store in the 6100 block of North Navarro Street on Sunday. The merchandise was later recovered.

VICTORIA - A truck bed toolbox valued at $800 from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Port Lavaca Drive on Friday.

VICTORIA - A laptop computer valued at $800 from a home in the 800 block of Park Avenue on Saturday.

VICTORIA - Women's underwear valued at $3,700 from a specialty store in the 7800 block of North Navarro Street on Sunday.

Damaged

VICTORIA - A tire on a 2010 black Chevrolet Equinox in a parking lot in the 2900 block of Miori Lane on Friday. The damage was valued at $150.

VICTORIA - A 1998 black Mitsubishi Sport in the 500 block of North Cleveland Street on Sunday. The damage was valued at $300.

VICTORIA - Four tires on a 1998 Mercedes in a parking lot in the 2900 block of Miori Lane on Friday. The damage was valued at $800.

VICTORIA - A window on a 2013 black Dodge Challenger in a parking lot in the 200 block of Circle Street on July 18. The damage was valued at $300.

VICTORIA - Home interior valued at $1,058 from a home in the 700 block of Siegfried Street on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A car in a parking lot in the 300 block of Costa Del Oro Drive on Tuesday. Damages estimated at $1,000 were reported.

VICTORIA - Handball court walls at a public park in the 2100 block of Salem Road on Monday. Damages estimated at $500 were reported.

Indicted

Editor's Note: An indictment is not an indication of guilt. It is a finding by a grand jury that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial.

VICTORIA - A grand jury returned indictments on the following people July 17.

Crayton Daniel Schneider, 21, of Victoria, on a charge of evading arrest detention with a vehicle April 9.

James Travis Adams, 20, of Edna, on a charge of criminal mischief between $1,500 and $20,000. He is charged with striking with a baseball bat at least 21 mailboxes, at least two yard lamp posts, a 2002 Oldsmobile, the taillight of a 2012 Ford F-150 pickup and the rear window of a 2007 Nissan Xterra on Oct. 8.

William Conner Knapp, 20, of Victoria, on a charge of criminal mischief between $1,500 and $20,000. He is charged with striking with a baseball bat at least 21 mailboxes, at least two yard lamp posts, a 2002 Oldsmobile, the taillight of a 2012 Ford F-150 pickup and the rear window of a 2007 Nissan Xterra on Oct. 8.

Troy David McIntosh Jr., 20, of Victoria, on a charge of criminal mischief between between $1,500 and $20,000. He is charged with striking with a baseball bat at least 21 mailboxes, at least two yard lamp posts, a 2002 Oldsmobile, the taillight of a 2012 Ford F-150 pickup and the rear window of a 2007 Nissan Xterra on Oct. 8.

Mason Andrew Robles, 24, of Victoria, on a charge of criminal mischief between $1,500 and $20,000. He is charged with damaging or destroying the rear window and windshield of a white 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer on Jan. 3. The damage was valued between $1,500 and $20,000.

Lloyd Barefield, 74, of Victoria, on a charge of theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000. He is charged with stealing a Gabbanelli accordion, valued between $1,500 and $20,000 April 24.

Youvanna Barefield Johnson, 52, of Victoria, on a charge of theft. He is charged with stealing Gabbanelli Accordion, valued between $1,500 and $20,000 April 24.

Terry Lee Davis Jr., 19, of Victoria, on a charge of burglary of a habitation. He is charged with burglarizing a home and stealing a Springfield Armor XD-45 pistol, S5L light for Springfield XD-45, two Xbox 360 gaming units, Samsung Blu-Ray player, two silver necklaces and two Colt Daggers on May 6.

Dedrick Lamond Dalcour, 33, of Houston, on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated promotion of prostitution. He is charged with promoting and managing prostitution with three or more people Jan. 23.

Corine Nicole Pierce, 29, of Victoria, on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity, aggravated promotion of prostitution and fraudulent use of identifying information. She is charged with promoting and managing prostitution with three or more people on Jan. 23. She is also charged with possessing less than five pieces of identification of a woman with the intent to harm or defraud her Feb. 1.

Ciara LaToy Thomas, 23, of Victoria, on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated promotion of prostitution. She is charged with promoting and managing prostitution with three or more people Jan. 23.

Joseph Caesar Jr., 41, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacture and delivery a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, cocaine, charge April 30.

Hector Jabiel DeLeon, 58, of Victoria, on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity and manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams March 30, 2012 and Aug. 8. He is accused of showing a gun during the incident and fleeing afterward.

John Rajan Preston, 41, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, less than 1 gram June 4.
