Victoria police looking for 2 who robbed convenience store

A convenience store clerk was forcibly held during an aggravated robbery early Thursday morning.

At 4:21 a.m., two men entered the convenience store in the 4400 block of North Navarro Street, brandished a weapon that was described as possibly being a knife and removed an undisclosed amount of money from the office area, according to a Victoria Police Department news release.

The two men were described as being about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing between 220-240 pounds. They wore black rags over their faces and both wore shorts, according to the release.

Officers searched an area around 4400 North Navarro Street but were unable to locate the two men, who fled on foot.

EMS responded to the scene, but no injuries were reported.
