ACADIANA - Jordan Camel drove in all three runs for the Victoria Generals Wednesday night as the Generals capped off a two-game sweep of the Acadiana Cane Cutters 3-2 Wednesday night.

The Generals (25-26) got things started in the third inning when Camel drove in Romeo Cortina with a single. However, the Cane Cutters (28-24) responded with a run of their own in the bottom of the inning.

Camel gave the Generals the lead, and eventual victory, when he hit a triple with two outs in the top of the fifth inning.

Acadiana made things interesting late in the game with a run scored in the eighth and a batter reaching base in the ninth, but couldn't produce any runs.

Zac Vasek got his first win for the Generals, pitching six innings and striking out four batters.
