The Victoria Police Department will offer free Help End Auto Theft registration and vehicle identification number etching from 9 a.m. to noon June 29 at Parkway Church, 4802 John Stockbauer Drive.

You will need to a current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance, and the registered owner must be present.

HEAT registration and VIN etching is also offered through the Crime Prevention Unit in the Victoria Mall by appointment.

For more information, contact the Victoria Police Department Crime Prevention Unit at 361-485-3808 or stop by the office in the Victoria Mall next to Chick-fil-A.
