Angela Banduch and Derek Perkins, both of Victoria, were married at 3 p.m. on May 11, 2013 at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Panna Maria Texas. Rev. Wieslaw Iwaniec officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Barbara Banduch of Panna Maria. She is the granddaughter of Alice Banduch of Panna Maria and the late T.J. Banduch and the late Edward and Emilia Janysek.
The groom is the son of Billy and Lynette Perkins of Victoria. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy J. Perkins of Karnes City and Mr. & Mrs. Adrian Niestroy of Hobson and the late Lambert Pieprzyca.
Amanda Banduch and Ann Marie Banduch attended as Maids of Honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Perkins of San Antonio, Allison Burk of Austin, and Lauren Maxwell of Austin. Flower Girls were Berklie Urbanczyk, cousin of the bride and Brevyn Brockman, cousin of the groom. Special attendants were Sydney Janysek and Reagan Urbanczyk, cousins of the bride and Camryn and Madyson Wiatrek, cousins of the groom.
Cory Ebrom of Karnes City and Cody Labus of Hobson served as Best Men. Groomsmen were Luke Brockman of Boerne, Brady Labus of College Station, and Jacob Patton of Houston. Ring Bearer was Trenton Janysek of Panna Maria.
Ushers were Zach Brockman of San Antonio, Jeremy Gilbert of San Antonio and Jeremy Swierc of Hobson.
A reception, dinner and dance were held following the ceremony at Cestahowa Hall. The couple spent their honeymoon at Secrets Maroma Beach Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Derek and Angela are both graduates of Karnes City High School and earned Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Communication Disorders at Texas State University-San Marcos and are employed as speech language pathologists. Angela is employed by Warm Springs Specialty Hospital of Victoria and Derek is employed by Windsor Rehabilitation.
