Helmerich & Payne oil rig accident sends two to hospital

Two oil rig workers were transported to a Victoria hospital after an accident Tuesday.

The men, whose names were not released, were working at a Helmerich & Payne oil well just north of Yorktown when a crane broke, said Judge George Robinson.

Both men were transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro, said Robinson. Their conditions were not available late Tuesday.

Helmerich & Payne did not comment about the accident Tuesday.
