The Victoria Texans look to continue their playoff success at the Crossroads Amateur Football League's CRAFL Bowl III.

The Texans (13-0) will take on the Galveston Monarchs (11-2) for the league championship at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Round Rock school district's Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex in Austin.

The Texans moved into the title game with playoff wins over the Texas Tomahawks (56-8), the San Antonio All-Stars (46-0) and the Edinburg Landsharks (35-14).

The Monarchs advanced to the championship game with a 25-23 win over the West Texas Scorpions.

The teams played in the annual CASA Bowl preseason game at Patti Welder Stadium, and the Monarchs captured a 25-24 win.

The Texans defense has been extremely stingy during the playoffs and forced eight turnovers in their conference championship game.

Bay City graduate Brandon Brinkley returned two interceptions for touchdowns, and El Campo graduate Freddy Allen also had a touchdown on an interception return.

Tickets for the game will be $10 at the gate.
