AARP Chapter 829-Victoria met at the Victoria County Senior Citizens Center, 603 E. Murray St., for its Feb. 26 meeting.
Dr. Efren Diaz DeLeon, president, presided at the meeting and welcomed members and guest.

Members reported 30 hours of volunteer service in the community for the month of February.
Happy Birthday was sung to Ann Carver, Betty McMuray and Margareta Silvas for their February birthdays.
The 2013 membership directories were distributed.
After the meeting, refreshments were served during the fellowship hour.
The next meeting will be March 26. The speaker will be O.C. Garza with the city of Victoria.
