Outside storage buildings at Victoria East High School and Victoria West High School were burglarized overnight Tuesday.

At 7:20 a.m., Victoria Police investigated the break-in of three storage buildings at East High School.

A John Deere Gator was reported missing, said Sgt. Eline Moya, Victoria Police Department spokeswoman.

Fifteen minutes later, police responded to the report of four storage buildings burglarized at West High School.

"There was damage to some of the property inside - maintenance equipment and sports equipment - but nothing appeared to be missing," Moya said.

The schools themselves were not broken into.

Investigation into the incidents is continuing. Anyone with information concerning these crimes is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 361-572-4200.
