PREP ROUNDUP: East baseball routs Beeville

BEEVILLE - Ryan Williams pitched a three-hitter to lead Victoria East to an 11-1 District 30-4A baseball win over Beeville on Tuesday night at Joe Hunter Field.
The win lifted East to 11-8-1 and into sole possession of the district lead with a 4-0 record.
Williams had 11 strikeouts and did not allow an earned run, extending his streak to 33 2/3 innings without giving up an earned run.
Kyle Davidson had a triple and three RBIs and Hunter Perkins added a double and a RBI for the Titans.
The Trojans dropped to 4-10 and 0-3.
Flyers run rule Bears
SAN MARCOS - Michael Brawner pitched a one-hitter to lead St. Joseph to a 14-0 TAPPS District 3-4A baseball win over San Marcos Baptist Academy on Tuesday in a game stopped after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.
Brawner struck out eight for the Flyers, who improved to 12-8 overall and 2-1 in district.
Jerry Vasquez went 4 for 4 with four RBIs, and Eric Alvarez was 4 for 4 with a double and scored four runs for St. Joseph.
West softball rolls past Calallen
CORPUS CHRISTI - Victoria West had 18 hits and ran away with an 18-5 District 30-4A softball win over Calallen on Tuesday night.
Allena Canaday had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs, Karly Rae Hoerig had two hits, including a double, and scored three runs, and Arianna Rodriguez had two hits and scored two runs for the Warriors, who moved to 3-1 in district.
Lady Flyers blank Lady Bears
SAN MARCOS - Sarah Sainz and Hannah Novosad combined on a five-inning no-hitter to lead St. Joseph to a 12-0 TAPPS District 3-4A softball win over San Marcos Baptist Academy on Tuesday in a game stopped because of the 10-run mercy rule.
Sainz had seven strikeouts in three innings, and Novosad had two in two innings.
Mariah Clay and Peyton Cuellar each had a double and two RBIs for the Lady Flyers, who improved to 14-8 and 2-0.
Faith Academy softball triumphs
NEW BRAUNFELS - Gabbie Torres had a home run and two RBIs and did not allow a hit in three innings to lead Faith Academy to a TAPPS District 4-1A/2A softball win over New Braunfels Christian in a game stopped because of the mercy rule on Tuesday.
Kelsey Solis added a three-run home run and Tori Sauseda added three hits and stole seven bases for the Lady Cougars (2-1 in district), who took advantage of nine errors.
