Jaguars two-hit Oklahoma City in 9-1 win

Dawn Villegas gave up just two hits and struck out six batters in route to leading UHV to a 9-1 win over Oklahoma City (25-7) in game two of a double-header Friday.
The Jaguars (10-16) jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after one inning of play. After both sides plated a run in the second, UHV put the game away in the fourth with five runs scored.
Jaguars centerfielder Casey Sax was a perfect 2 for 2 at the plate and drove in two runs. Third baseman Marley Moehrig was 1 for 2 at the plate, but had two RBIs on a home run and drew a walk.
Ashley Winegart also had a home run for UHV and Ashley Shannon was 2 for 2 with one RBI.
Oklahoma City 9, UHV 8
In game one of Friday's double-header, the Jaguars matched Oklahoma City's five run effort in the top of the sixth inning with five runs of their own. However, UHV was held scoreless in the final inning of play, dropping their 16th game of the season, 9-8.
Alex Holland (3-2) took the loss for UHV while Jamie Rateliff (7-0) got the win for Oklahoma City. Holland pitched a complete game, giving up nine runs on 12 hits with three walks and three strikeouts.
Holland helped herself out at the plate as well, going 3 for 3 with a triple and three runs batted in. Ashley Shannon went 3 for 4 at the plate with an RBI and a walk.
