Boxers from not only the Crossroads but from as far away as Oklahoma will converge on the Victoria Community Center Dome on Saturday night for an evening filled with punches, sweat and possibly even some blood.

Four fighters from Tuff-E-Nuff in Victoria will fight in separate bouts at the Crossroads Explosion. The show is slated to feature 25 amateur fights.

The doors open at 1:30 p.m. with the first fight beginning at 2 p.m.

Victoria's own Jessie Martinez Jr. will kick off the card with a 132-pound bout against Logan Pena of Aransas Pass.

Chris Pena of Tuff-E-Nuff will face an opponent from Oklahoma in the third fight of the evening.

Andrew Garcia will face Angel Vargas in the fifth fight of the evening.

Kaely Perez, the lone female boxer to be on the card, from Tuff-E-Nuff, will be in the sixth fight of the evening. She will face a fighter from Tuff Boxing.

Originally, a main event fight was scheduled that would have featured two professional boxers. However, due to personal matters, one of the boxers was forced to withdraw.

After Perez's bout, the audience will be treated to 12 more amateur boxing matches, including several from around the Crossroads area.
