More than 900 cast early ballots in city election

After four days of early voting, 906 people have cast a ballot in person for the May 11 election.

Thursday, 208 people voted, according to a news release from the Victoria County election administrator's office.

Early voting continues until Tuesday.

Of the 1,273 ballots mailed, 951 have been returned.

By-mail applications for early voting must be received by 5 p.m. Friday.

In-person early voting continues from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Tuesday at the Dr. Pattie Dodson Public Health Center in Classroom A, 2805 N. Navarro St.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Tuesday.

Classroom A is most easily reached by entering through the center doors of the facility and going a short distance down the middle hallway.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 11 at individual election precinct polling locations.
