Some of the men hurt in a flash fire at the Point Comfort Formosa Plastics plant last week continue to recover in hospitals.

One man was released from the hospital Monday.

Raul Salazar, a contractor for Palacios Marine & Industrial, was discharged from Citizens Medical Center on Monday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Steven Vasquez, however, was still listed in critical condition at the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center's burn unit.

Jose Campos, who was also airlifted from the scene at 102 Pease Street, is being treated at the same hospital in Houston. The 33-year-old Port Lavaca man was listed in good condition, though, said Kathryn Klein, a Memorial Hermann spokeswoman.

Chris Doehrman was also taken by helicopter to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio for burns Thursday.

An update on his condition was not available Monday.

The fire injured 14 people.
