Thumbs-up, thumbs-down; it's your choice

Thumbs-up to Marialena Martinez, 3, featured in Sunday's front page, on her participation in the Cinco de Mayo traditional celebration in Goliad. She is adorable!
Thumbs-up to NVP Outdoor Signage for their patriotic billboard by the Warrior's Weekend Field of Honor.
Thumbs-down to the person in the pickup truck that hit and killed my neighbor's dog May 4, early afternoon, barely missing mine. Accidents happen, but shame, shame on you for stopping at the stop sign a brief minute then taking off at a high rate of speed instead of coming back to check on a harmless pet. Very sad.
Hope I taught my kids better! There are young kids who live on this street. People, please slow down!
