Victoria West senior named District 30-4A MVP

Victoria West senior Shannon Hawes was named the MVP of the All-District 30-4A boys golf team.

Victoria East sophomore Hannah Karasiuk was selected as the Newcomer of the Year of the girls team, and East freshman Hunter Redding was chosen as the Newcomer of the Year of the boys team.

East's Mike Smith and West's Fred Neuman were named the coaches of the year for the girls and boys teams, respectively.

Tuloso-Midway freshman Kelly Xac was named the MVP of the girls team.

East junior Lindsey Crabb and senior Cassidy Hoad were first-team picks on the girls team.

West senior Colton Escamilla, sophomore Jared Galvan, senior Cabbot Hanes and junior Remey Shelton were first-team picks on the boys team.

West senior Morgan Park, East senior Claire Vivian, sophomore Ashley Martin and junior Kendall Carter were named to the girls second team.

West junior Wade Strickland, East junior Chad Williams, Calhoun senior Greyson Parker and Beeville senior James Larakers were named to the boys second team.

Earning honorable mention on the girls team were East's Kaitlynn Edwards, West's Emily Richter and Clare Smejkal and Beeville's Kelsey Wright.

Earning honorable mention on the boys team were West's Patrick Kostella, Sean Davis, Travis Dibble, Collins Koch and Nicholas Kouches, East's Hayden Redding, Zach Blevins, Chase Spicak and Nick Norman, Calhoun's Colton Willoughby and Beeville's Reid Carrillo.
