As the class representative for the Class of 2013 at the Texas A&M Health Science Center Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, Kathleen Wild represented well.
Wild received her doctor of pharmacy degree, graduating magna cum laude from the college May 11 in Kingsville.
Wild grew up in Cuero and received a bachelor's degree in biomedical science at Texas A&M University in College Station.
Wild plans to pursue community pharmacy.
"I am set to be in the Corpus area, filling that need and improving the quality and access to care for South Texas," Wild said.
After graduation, Wild plans to be an active alumna by helping student organizations and serving as a preceptor.
"I decided that my best method for teaching will be as a preceptor," Wild said. "I want to give back to the school and help shape the future of pharmacists and health care in general."
