Midday Mafia: Uncle Mutt's gets the job done

Editor's note: The Midday Mafia is made up of five locals who wish to remain anonymous at the moment. Names have been changed to protect the guilty and are as follows: The Don, Two Taps, Walnuts, Jack the Knife and Jimmy Three Cheese. The Midday Mafia will run every other Thursday in Get Out.
A majority of the Midday Mafia had the pleasure of attending the Howell Middle School All Sports Banquet last week and decided to review the catering job turned in by Uncle Mutt's Bar-B-Q.
These folks handled a crowd of 400 with ease and served brisket, sausage, new potatoes and onions, green beans and pinto beans along with pickles, onions, jalapenos, bread, sauce and tea.
Katina's crew set up four serving lines and sliced the brisket as you walked through the line. Food was served buffet style, and you could get what you wanted from the offerings provided.
If you have ever been to a wedding gone bad or a reception that was terrible, you will understand how nice it is to turn the catering over to a real pro and have everything go as planned. Uncle Mutt's does this for a living, folks, and it does it right.
The lines moved quickly, and we heard several comment how everything was hot, and the meats were tender and tasty. I realize we promote all things Victoria here and that everybody has a favorite barbecue spot, but when it comes to feeding a crowd, nobody does it better at your location than Uncle Mutt's Bar-B-Q.
The Midday Mafia says, "Hire Katina and fuhget about it because it will be done right." We can eat anywhere in anonymity and honestly feel Uncle Mutt's is the go-to for catering for a large group. Take that to the bank, and we will see you in a couple weeks. Until then, fuhget about it.
