After winning its first two tournaments, the UHV women's golf team will look for a fall sweep when it began play at the UT-Brownsville Ocelot Invitational this Sunday and Monday.

Earlier this fall, the Jaguars won the UHV Fall Classic by seven strokes and then won the St. Thomas Talamonti Invitational by one stroke.

Joining UHV on Sunday and Monday will be UT-Brownsville, Texas A&M-International, Texas A&M-Kingsville, UT-Pan American, University of St. Thomas and Texas Wesleyan.

Junior Rebecca Benchot leads the Jaguars with a 76.0 scoring average. She has finished as the individual runner-up in both of the Jaguars' fall events. Sophomores Brooke Brasseaux and Caitlin Swisher follow with 78.25 and 81.0 scoring averages.
