Jaguars finish fourth at UTB Invitational

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND - The University of Houston-Victoria's women's golf team placed fourth at the University of Texas-Brownsville Ocelot Invitational on Monday, scoring the second lowest team score of the day.
The Jaguars posted a final round 313 to finish the 36-hole event at 650, according to a news release.
UT-Pan American came in first place with a team score of 608, followed by Texas Wesleyan with a team score of 626. Texas A&M-Kingsville rounded out the top three with a team score of 645.
The tournament was the final event of the fall for the Jaguars. UHV will return to action Feb. 15-17 when they play host to the second annual Claud Jacobs Collegiate Invitational.
