Starlight Dance Studio in Victoria will hit the ballroom dance floor Saturday in Corpus Christi.

The studio's advanced waltz class will showcase its three-minute country-western waltz performance to George Strait's "You Look So Good in Love," said Jane Simcek, owner of the studio and one of the group's dancers.

The performance Saturday is at the Revelaires Dance Club at Sokol Hall. The social dance club has 338 members and promotes fellowship through different styles of dancing, from ballroom and Latin to country-western, said Robert Garza, director and dance instructor.

"We've been in business for about a year now, but people are starting to know who we are and what we do," Garza said.

Last month, the class performed at the Health-O-Rama in Victoria, but aside from that, they also dance at local nightclubs just for fun.

The goal, Garza said, is to eventually perform at more events as time goes on.

"It's good that we're being recognized," he said.
