A safe way to focus on wardrobe is to pick two colors for your fall color palette this season. Stick to these two colors but build on them, adding in accessories, colors and pieces that you see fit for your already existing color scheme this fall.
Black and gold are two of my favorite colors. They coexist well with each other and open conversation with other colors for collaborative mix-ins. What are your favorite fall looks? These are my must-haves for staple pieces this fall:
Miu Miu handbags are always at the top of my list. Their handbags and clutches are everything.
Each season calls for a Miu Miu clutch - this season, I am head over heels for the clutch that has a detachable strap that turns into a necklace.
Add in earrings and let your accessories do the talking without ever having to say a word. Accessories provide perspective for fresh focus in a wardrobe to vamp up anything old in your closet. Let new and old wardrobes coexist for new looks.
Add a designer touch; what do you love that you can't afford but also can't get your mind off of? Mimic the color scheme and make it your own. For instance, I love the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 dress that Katy Perry wore at the Met Ball so I channeled that into black and gold.
