Customer service in Victoria needs work

I moved to Victoria about 41/2 years ago, and it's a nice place to raise a family. But let me tell you, I have never seen such bad customer service anywhere. I have shopped, gone out to eat and used contractors for my new home. Customer service in this town is horribly disgusting. People don't call you back, and they don't show up when they say they will. They don't even call you to reschedule; they just don't show up, and they are rude. They don't care if they get your business or not.
And trust me, this has been with a lot of businesses. I'm not complaining about one in particular. I have a contractor right now who has told me they would be at my home to do a job every day for two weeks - no call, no show. I have been in sales and customer service for 10 years. I'm 32, so I think I have the right to gripe, and I know some customers can be impossible to deal with. I know I'm not perfect, but believe me, my standards are low. I am very easy to please. Citizens of Victoria deserve better.
