Wrecked

VICTORIA - A 55-year-old Victoria man was transported to a hospital early Tuesday evening after colliding with another vehicle in the 4000 block of North Main Street.

VICTORIA - A 42-year-old Victoria man was transported to a hospital Monday after his vehicle was struck by a car at the East Red River Street and North Wheeler Street intersection. The other driver, Cynthia Marie Rippeon, 32, of Victoria, was cited with failure to yield right of way at a stop intersection, no driver's license and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

VICTORIA - A 56-year-old Victoria man flipped his truck Tuesday morning in the 7300 block of Nursery Drive. The driver refused transport to a hospital and no citations were issued.

Arrested

VICTORIA - A 28-year-old Victoria man by officers Saturday on suspicion of assault of a family or household member by impeding their breath or circulation.

VICTORIA - Melissa Ann Morin, 35, of Victoria, by deputies Saturday on a violation of probation warrant for a theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000 case.

VICTORIA - A 35-year-old Victoria woman by officers Saturday on suspicion of theft of property less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions.

VICTORIA - Joseph Smith, 26, of Onalaska, by officers Saturday on a warrant charging him with theft of property between $50 and $500.

VICTORIA - A 21-year-old Bloomington man by officers Sunday on suspicion of a Class C misdemeanor and having a prohibited weapon, such as a switchblade or knuckles.

VICTORIA - A 22-year-old Victoria man by officers Sunday on suspicion of place weapons prohibited.

VICTORIA - A 26-year-old Victoria woman by officers Sunday on suspicion of theft of property between $50 and $500.

VICTORIA - A 24-year-old Victoria man at a home in the 3600 block of East Juan Linn Street on Saturday. A window at the home was also damaged. The damage was valued at $200.

VICTORIA - A 27-year-old Victoria man at a bar in the 4100 block of Houston Highway on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A 22-year-old Victoria woman in the 500 block of San Antonio Street on Saturday.

Burglarized

VICTORIA - A building in the 13200 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday. An Echo weed eater, edger, blower, pressure washer and sockets valued together at $775 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A building in the 100 block of Monterrey Drive on Sunday. Candy valued at $60 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - An office in the 1500 block of East Stayton Avenue on Saturday. A Dooney and Burke purse valued at $200, a white iPhone 4 valued at $200, makeup valued at $200, a Wells Fargo debit card, a Capital One credit card, a Credit One credit card, a Target credit card, two J.C. Penney credit cards and a Texas driver's license valued at $1 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 1900 bock of North Jecker Street on Saturday. A 48-inch, LG plasma TV valued at $700 and a black, 32-inch Haier TV valued at $200 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2008 silver Chrysler in the 1000 block of Manor Drive on Friday. Three debit cards, a Texas driver's license and a black Coach wallet valued at $100 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2007 maroon Chrysler Town and Country in the 6100 block of North Navarro Street on Friday. A Nabi Android tablet valued at $180 and a Sony digital camera valued at $35 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2012 black Toyota Camry and a 2010 black Buick Enclave in the 100 block of North William Street on Friday. A MacBook valued at $1,200, a multicolored purse valued at $100, a zebra-print case valued at $20, a Texas Dow Employees Credit Union credit card, a Social Security card, two Medical insurance cards, a Texas driver's license and a TDECU debit/credit card were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2011 white Nissan Rogue in the 200 block of East Santa Rosa Street on Saturday. A purple Brahmin alligator purse valued at $300, four prescription drugs valued at $110, a HP laptop computer in a black bag valued at $1,000, a Vera Bradley bag valued at $100, a silver HP Envy Laptop valued at $800, and nine pieces of jewelry valued at $4,425 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2009 gold Ford F-350 and a 2000 white Ford F-250 in the 500 block of Yorkshire Lane on Saturday. A Home Lite pressure washer valued at $300 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2009 black Silver Pace American and a 2008 black and orange HD in the 13200 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday. A Harley Davidson black helmet valued at $300, three Harley Davidson sunglasses valued together at $665, Harley Davidson leather gloves valued at $75, three Harley Davidson tie-down straps valued at $90, a Craftsman tool box with miscellaneous tools valued at $300, a motorcycle battery charger valued at $100 and a black zipper case with a registration and insurance card valued at $15 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 1900 block of Woodlawn Street on Monday. Jewelry and electronics valued at $1,694.50 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 600 block of Fillmore Avenue on Monday. Two metal tool boxes and an assortment of tools valued at $1,800 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 7500 block of U.S. Highway 59 on Friday. Nothing reported missing.

Stolen

VICTORIA - A black wallet valued at $10, a Texas driver's license and a Discover card from the 100 block of North Main Street on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A First Victoria debit card, a Texas driver's license and two purses valued at $10 from a church in the 500 block of North Main Street on Sunday.

VICTORIA - $1,700 from a home in the 100 block of Tern Court Drive on Saturday.

VICTORIA - 180 hydroco/apap prescription pills valued at $544 from a home in the 900 block of East San Antonio Street on Friday.

VICTORIA - Nike shoes valued at $50, Wendy's hat and apron valued at $40, a Timberland wallet valued at $30, a Social Security card and a South Carolina driver's license from the 2900 block of Houston Highway on Saturday.

VICTORIA - A woman's purse valued at $160, a woman's wallet valued at $120, a Texas driver's license, four Social Security cards, $190 in cash, a Victoria Credit Union Visa debit/credit card, two Chase Visa debit/credit cards and a Bank of America debit/credit card from a nightclub in the 1900 block of East Red River Street on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A black LG Optimus cellphone valued at $400 from a home in the 800 block of Virginia Avenue on Sunday.

VICTORIA - Groceries valued at $31.65 from a grocery store in the 1500 block of East Rio Grande Street on Friday. The items were later recovered.

VICTORIA - CoverGirl makeup valued at $12.98, from a grocery store in the 1500 block of East Rio Grande Street on Sunday. The items were later recovered.

VICTORIA - Tommy Hilfiger cologne valued at $50 from a department store in the 8900 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday. The cologne was later recovered.

VICTORIA - Sixteen miscellaneous items valued at $118.63 from a grocery store in the 4100 block of Houston Highway on Sunday. The items were later recovered.

VICTORIA - Fashion jewelry valued at $23.10, miscellaneous clothing valued at $60.29 and shoes valued at $5.99 from a store in the 8900 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday. The items were later recovered.

VICTORIA - A 2013 white Chevrolet 1500, valued at $32,000, from a home in the 1600 block of East Guadalupe Street on Friday.

VICTORIA - Tires valued at $2,500 from a home in the 2400 block of Rose Drive on Monday.

VICTORIA - A cellphone valued at $800 from a school or college in the 4100 block of East Mockingbird Lane on Friday.

VICTORIA - The passenger window of a 1997 green Chevrolet Express 1500 in the 3500 block of Lone Tree Road on Friday. The damage was valued at $200.

VICTORIA - A 2012 white Ford F-350 in the 300 block of East Constitution Street on Saturday. The damage was valued at $200.

VICTORIA - A window at a home in the 600 block of West Goodwin Avenue on Saturday. The damage was valued at $100.

VICTORIA - A window at a store in the 2500 block of North Laurent Street on Saturday. The damage was valued at $400.

VICTORIA - Two windows on a white Ford F-250 in the 2400 block of Southwest Ben Jordan Street on Sunday. The damage was valued at $200.

VICTORIA - A 2005 gray Jeep Liberty, a power pole and lamp and a speed limit sign in the 1900 block of Sam Houston Drive on Sunday.

VICTORIA - The north side of the maintenance building 1, the west side of the maintenance building 2, the north side of the maintenance building 3, the east side of the band hall door and the north side of the band hall at Stroman Middle School in the 3000 block of East North Street from graffiti Saturday. The damage was valued at $500.

VICTORIA - Three tires valued at $900 from a vehicle in the 2700 block of Hospital Drive on Monday.

Indicted

Editor's Note: An indictment is not an indication of guilt. It is a finding by a grand jury that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial.

VICTORIA - A grand jury returned indictments on the following people Oct. 3:

Jonathan Antonio Mott, 17, of Victoria, on three counts of graffiti. He is charged with marking with paint or ink Stroman Middle School, 3002 E. North Street; Dudley Elementary School; 3307 Callis Street, and the city of Victoria's community center, causing damage valued at less than $20,000 for each incident, July 6.

Adam Joseph Leonard Harper 23, of Victoria, on charges of assault of a family or household member by impeding their breath or circulation. He is charged with applying pressure to the throat or neck of a woman he was dating Aug. 12.

Marcus Allen Bergh, 24, of Victoria, on a charge of aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. He is charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm Aug. 20 after he was convicted of aggravated assault, a felony, in August 2007. He is also charged with threatening a man with a firearm Aug. 20.

In another indictment, he is charged with manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance, cocaine, between 1 and 4 grams June 23.

Shannon L. Clarke, 43, of Bloomington, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram. He is charged with possessing less than 1 gram of methamphetamine June 9.

Chaderick Onek Blunston, 38, of El Campo, on charges of assault of a public servant and evading arrest or detention with a previous conviction. He is charged with striking a police officer and fleeing from another peace officer May 24.

Jose Luis Falcon, 24, of Yoakum, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity. He is charged with altering with a group of people a woman's check to defraud her Aug. 3.

Ronnie Garza, 30, of Yoakum, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity. He is charged with altering with a group of people a woman's check valued at $96.46 to defraud her Aug. 3.
