Jaguars win third straight

Sept. 10, 2013 at 4:10 a.m.

SAN ANTONIO - Being held without a single shot in the first half didn't deter the UHV men's soccer team one bit.

The Jaguars (4-2) scored twice in the second half against St. Mary's to capture a 2-1 victory. It was the team's third-straight win.

Jhostan Padron scored first for UHV after a deflection by the Rattler's goal keeper in the 55th minute. Christian Turman made it 2-0 for the Jags in the 85th minute.

St. Mary's got on the scoreboard late on a rebound shot.
