A call to police from a concerned resident lead to the arrest of two Victoria men on charges including burglary of a motor vehicle.

The tipster told police that two suspicion men were in the 900 block of Taos Drive. After responding, officers found two men, identified as Nicholas Treadway, 20, and Harrison Holt, 18, inside a vehicle in the 200 block of Magdalena Drive, according to a Victoria Police Department news release.

Police think the men stole a vehicle from the 900 block of Taos and then burglarized another in the area.

Treadway was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony; and burglary of a vehicle, a Class A misdemeanor.

Holt was arrested on suspicion of theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000, a state jail felony; burglary of a vehicle and possession of marijuana.

Victoria Police Department officials think the men may be connected to other burglaries in the area. If they are connected, additional charges will follow, according to the news release.

Both men posted bond and have since been released from the Victoria County Jail.
