Marylynn Fletcher, music professor at Victoria College, was a clinician at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio from Feb. 12 to 15. She also performed as a violinist on the Texas Two-Year College All-State Choir Concert.
Jonathan Anderson, Victoria College music professor and director of bands at Victoria College, served as jazz clinician/conductor at the Texas Music Educators Association Region 14 Jazz Ensemble Clinic hosted at Flour Bluff High School. Clinicians assisted with participating band auditions and selected the music participants played.
Victoria College has hired two new employees during the spring semester. Britt Carter joined the physical plant team as a custodian. He is located in the Fine Arts Building and the Museum of the Coastal Bend. Katie Walpole is the new nursing instructor. A graduate of Victoria College, Walpole now works in the Health Sciences Center on the Victoria College main campus.
Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown Company has announced the addition of Shea Phillips. She has seven years of real estate experience and was educated in residential, farm, ranch and new construction. She has completed the following designations: Graduate Realtor Institute and Accredited Buyer's Representative.
Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown Company has announced the addition of Heather Bruno, residential real estate specialist. She is a real estate agent and active member of the Victoria Board of Realtors. She is also a Housing and Urban Development Specialist.
Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown Company has announced the addition of Lisa Christensen. She is a member of the Victoria Board of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Senior Helpers has announced levels of achievement in service with the company: Dorothy Simmons, gold level; Shakeira Barnes, bronze level; Linda Barnes, silver level; Karen Waul, gold level; and Loren Schulze, bronze level. Caregiver levels are based on the amount of service hours with the company as well as continuous training completed.
Senior Helpers has announced Melissa Stolle as April's Caregiver of the Month. She has worked with Senior Helpers since May 2012.
