Victoria College has partnered with Neogov, the nation's largest cloud software for human resources in government and education, to improve the hiring process for job-seekers and personnel managers.

Job-seekers can now quickly apply online to numerous positions currently open via>Quick Links>Jobs at VC. Candidates can apply for current vacancies or sign up for new openings that become available.

Using this technology, human resources and department managers can access online records to expedite hiring and provide greater accountability when selecting new employees.

Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

"Victoria College implemented the new online application system to create a more efficient and easier way for applicants to apply," said Terri Kurtz, VC human resources director. "This system provides the applicant the ability to upload their resume, cover letter and unofficial transcripts along with the online application."

Kurtz said this process is more streamlined than emailing or mailing a fillable PDF application and attaching required documents. Also, once the applicant's account is created, they are able to more easily apply for multiple positions.

The new software system also allows hiring managers to more effectively create minimum qualifications to sort through a pool of applicants. With the new system, administrative work and technical maintenance costs are reduced as this workload is handled by the NEOGOV system.

Victoria College now joins over 1,000 organizations across the nation, which has moved into cutting edge online technology for personnel management.
