Here are six characters to watch in Season 4 "Game of Thrones:"

1. Khaleesi, or Queen Daenerys of House Targaryen

She is known as the Mother of Dragons and Khaleesi of the Dothraki. Daenerys has been busy building an army to retake the throne as head of the Seven Kingdoms.

2. Joffrey Baratheon

Incest child of his queen mother, Cersei Lannister, and her twin brother, Jaime Lannister. Joffrey is believed, however, to be the son of his mother and her late husband, King Robert Baratheon. Joffrey was made king when his father died.

3. Jon Snow

Bastard son of Eddard Stark. He's a member of the Night's Watch. He's been living "north of the wall," where he fell in love with a woman of the Free Folk, Ygritte, who nearly killed him in the third season for abandoning her and escaping the Free Folk to return home to Winterfell.

4. Tyrion Lannister

"The imp." He is a little person, a "halfman" and a member of the richest family, House Lannister. He is extremely clever, a womanizer and lover of wine. He uses his wit to fight those who judge him for being height challenged, and he's adept at leading a kingdom.

5. Arya Stark

Tomboy daughter of Lord Eddard and Catelyn Stark. She has been hiding in secret as a boy, learning to fight like a man until she finds her family again, most of whom have been killed.

6. Ser Jaime Lannister

Jamie is a knight of the Kingsguard. He is in love with his twin sister, Cersei. He does not know King Joffrey is his child. Until the third season, Jamie was known for his sword fighting skills. But he was captured by the Stark family, and in the process of returning home to his family, a rogue group of forest pirates cut off his sword hand.
