Professor Bob Segner of Texas A&M University will be the speaker at the Yoakum A&M Club's muster ceremony at 6:30 p.m. April 21 at the Yoakum Community Center, 105 Huck St.

Segner has received the Distinguished Achievement Award for teaching at Texas A&M University. Texas A&M will be the only campus in the nation with a building devoted to construction science. Segner has been teaching students, many of whom are now leaders in the building industry, since 1970.

The muster will include a social hour from 6:30-7:30 p.m., followed by the meal and presentation at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20 each, which includes the cost of the meal. Contact Glen Kusak at 361-293-7089 to make reservations or for additional information. Reservations should be made by Tuesday.
