IBC Bank-Port Lavaca announced the hiring of banking veteran and Victoria native Melissa Quintanilla as branch sales manager of the bank's Victoria location. She will oversee new account generation and ensure that a high level of customer service is maintained at the branch. Quintanilla brings more than 11 years of banking and business management experience to her new role at IBC Bank.
Penny Pavlica with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals won the Summit Award, which is the top rank in the South Texas district and the Texas/New Mexico region.
Albert Gonzales was named March Employee of the Month at the University of Houston-Victoria. He is a senior maintenance technician in the facilities department and has worked at UHV since 2011. He received a framed certificate and a $50 gift card.
Leticia Lechuga, who works at Mid-Coast Family Services, successfully completed the office of the attorney general's certified sexual assault advocate training. Lechuga has more than 10 years experience working with survivors of sexual assault and is available for hospital accompaniments, crisis counseling and other supportive services.
