Over the next two days, students at Victoria West High School will participate in a program called Shattered Dreams.

Shattered Dreams is a two-day, school-based program that promotes responsible decision-making among high school students regarding underage drinking and impaired driving.

On Thursday morning, Victoria West - in conjunction with local emergency responders - will stage a mock car accident with false fatalities in front of the school.

Emergency medical service vehicles from the Victoria Fire Department, the Department of Public Safety, the Victoria County Sheriff's Office, the Victoria Police Department and a local hospital medical helicopter service will all be responding.
