The name of a 6-year-old boy who was hit while riding his bicycle on Sunday was included in a Victoria Police Department report released on Monday.

Blaise Lopez was taken to Citizens Medical Center after the crash on Sunday.

Citizens Medical Center Marketing Director Shannon Spree said Monday Blaise was treated and transferred.

It was not clear which hospital he was transferred to.

Blaise was traveling west on the sidewalk in front of 3207 E. Airline Road. He was hit by a 2012 white Jeep Liberty that was leaving the Stratford Place Apartment complex's parking lot.

The Jeep, driven by Jessica Leigh Jones, 26, of Victoria struck the left side of the bike, crushing Blaise's leg and forcing him to the ground, according to the report.

Jones was not issued a citation.
