A Port Lavaca man injured early Friday after crashing his truck into a fence has been treated and released from a hospital.
Jacob Dawdy, 20, told Texas Department of Public Safety troopers that an approaching vehicle entered his lane on state Highway 95 just north of County Road 292 in Lavaca County. Then, in an effort to avoid a collision, he veered off the roadway. Troopers responded to the accident about 5:45 a.m.
Dawdy, who was driving a Lufkin Industries truck, was taken to Yoakum Community Hospital and later released.
