People cannot store vehicles on their property for more than 24 hours.
Recently, there have been several complaints of stored vehicles in various neighborhoods throughout Victoria. The complainants most commonly state that the parked vehicles are an eyesore or have nearly caused several accidents.
I wanted to remind everyone what defines a stored vehicle.
To read the city ordinance, go to City Ordinance 22-57.
The Victoria Police Department Traffic Safety Unit invites citizens to inform us of any traffic issues that you observe. The easiest way to do this is go to our website, victoriapd.com, then go to the VPD Customer Service Request tab in the center of the page and follow the directions.
