Police arrest man charged with crashing into taco truck, leaving the scene

Victoria Police Department officers arrested a man wanted in connection with a wreck that injured four people and damaged a taco truck.
Miguel Alvarez, 26, of Victoria, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with accident involving injury.
According to reports, a maroon Chevrolet Suburban crashed into Taco Rico Don Lino about 1:40 a.m. March 9, and the driver left the scene.
Lt. Mike Hernandez, a department spokesman, credited witness testimony and an ongoing investigation for the arrest.
Alvarez is being held at the Victoria County Jail. His bond is set at $25,000.
