A man was uninjured after his commercial fishing boat started flooding in Port O'Connor waters Monday afternoon.
The Corpus Christi Coast Guard responded to a mayday call from an unidentified man about 3:30 p.m. Monday when his boat started to flood, Lt. Junior Grade Margaret Kratz said Tuesday.
A rescue boat launched from Port O'Connor in response to the call, she said. Two members of the Coast Guard were able to reduce flooding in the boat and were able to return the boat to Port O'Connor for inspection.
