3 Calhoun ISD school board members file for reelection

Three Calhoun County school district board positions, which carry three-year terms, will be on the May 10 ballot.

The three incumbents have filed for re-election, and all of the races are uncontested so far.

Incumbent Jesse Briseno, 68, a retiree, has filed to represent District 1. Incumbent Joe Ortiz, 45, an electrical technician, has filed for District 2. Retiree Janie Delgado, 63, also an incumbent, has filed for the District 6 position.

Candidates must file by Feb. 28. Early voting begins April 28 and ends May 6.
