A 2-year-old child and three adults were taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a car crash Wednesday afternoon.

Fina Sin, 53, of Port Lavaca, was eastbound on state Highway 185 when he attempted to turn left onto U.S. Highway 59 service road. His vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer traveling in the opposite direction, said Victoria police officer Brandon Allen.

Sin, a 2-year-old child and two adults - Sothearith Sin, 21, and Sothearoth Sin, 23 - were all taken to Citizens Medical Center with minor injuries.

Fina and Sothearoth Sin were still being treated in the emergency room Wednesday night, a hospital spokeswoman said. Sothearith Sin was no longer admitted. The child's condition was not available.

Fina Sin was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
