Antique show set in Port Lavaca

The Antique Pickers Back Roads Tour will be in Port Lavaca on Monday through Jan. 19.

The show will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bauer Community Center, 2300 state Highway 35 N.

During the show, people can bring antiques of all kinds to the event.

The Antique Pickers Road Crew will also make house visits, according to a news release from the show. Anyone who has large items, such as furniture or vehicles, or has a barn full of items or just too much to bring to the event can request a visit by calling 217-415-6720.

Common items brought to the show are gold jewelry, vintage and modern; silver dollars, silver coins dated 1964 or older, old toys, dolls and trains; pocket and wristwatches, sterling silver flatware, teapots and platters, advertising memorabilia, military memorabilia, gold coins and diamonds, according to the news release.
