4 Victoria Police Department employees retire

The Victoria Police Department said farewell to more than 99 years of service Wednesday as four employees retired from the department. Detective Travis Stillwell, left, began his career with the department in 1990. He served as a patrol officer and then as a detective on the assault team. Nancy Anders, second from left, worked in the Telephone Response Unit, first as a technician and retired as a supervisor with 20 years of service. Lucy Cruz, second from right, joined the police department in 1987 as a records clerk and retired from the Support Services Division. Lt. Michael Beyer, right, joined the police department in November 1985 after working at the city service center and retired with 30 years of service to the city. His assignments included patrol, investigation and filling in as acting captain.
