The Bronte Club of Victoria was called to order by President Doris Wuensche at 3 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Victoria Women's Club House.

The Bronte Club members were lead in the club collect and pledges of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and the Texas flag.

Bronte member Cora Jo Hummel introduced the speaker John Moraida, award-winning floral designer for Devereux Gardens-Victoria, who spoke and demonstrated "Backyardia-Roadsidia" for Christmas. At the end of his demonstration, the arrangements made were given to lucky members with a winning sticker.

Wuensche reminded members of the next Bronte Club meeting today at 3 p.m. at the Victoria Women's Club House. The home life program "New Year - New You," will be presented by Tami Brzozowski, fitness manager of Citizens Healthplex.

The meeting was adjourned for the tea hour presented by hostesses: Ms. Prudhomme, Mrs. Dismuke and Mrs. Blanchard.
