Lady Flyers stay undefeated in district

With a 58-49 victory over Austin St. Dominic Savio, the Lady Flyers of St. Joseph (24-6, 5-0) kept their undefeated TAPPS District 4-3A record intact.

Junior Kensey Marshal led all scorers with 16 points and one 3-pointer. Iris Young was second with 12.

The Lady Flyers established a commanding 31-18 lead at halftime.

Though the girls didn't have any late dramatics, the boys' team sure did.

Despite leading 24-19 at halftime, the Flyers (10-14, 3-2) ended regulation in a 41-41 tie with St. Dominic Savio.

However, St. Joseph would eventually win by two points.

Adam Konarik led the Flyers in scoring with 19 points, and Cody Janak contributed 16 and two 3-pointers.
