Sarah Slusz-Waters and Henry Lee Holland, both of Victoria, were married at 2 p.m. on January 11, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father George Henninger of Victoria officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark Slusz of Kingwood.
The groom is the son of Russell and Sherrice Judd, both of Yoakum.
Michelle Koenig of Victoria attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Denise Basaldua, Amy Holland, Charis Patterson and Dee Ann Stastny, all of Victoria. Bryndalinn Mata of Corpus Christi attended as flower girl.
Bob McDonough of Alexandria, Louisiana served as best man. Groomsmen were Byron Holland of Yoakum, Vince Porter of Victoria, Vincent Porter of Victoria and Omer Robertson of Victoria. Mason Holland of Yoakum served as ring bearer.
Ushers were Jason Hull, Chad McCrory and Joe Blackburn, all of Victoria. Readers were Regina Koenig, Magali Silva and Emily Yeary, all of Victoria. Gift bearers were David Tucker, Mary Ann Tucker and Madeline Massey.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Holy Family Catholic Church Activity Center. The couple will celebrate their honeymoon on a one week secret get-away. They will reside in Victoria.
The bride is a graduate of Kingwood High School. She will obtain her Bachelor's degree in December of 2014 from the University of Houston-Victoria. She is currently employed at the Next Step Counseling and Education Center. Sarah is a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church and an ACTS Team Member.
The groom graduated from Industrial High School. He is currently employed at MW Rentals and Services. Henry is also a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church and an ACTS retreatant.
