Holy Family Altar Society holds meeting

The Holy Family Altar Society meeting was called to order by president Jackie Slusher who led the opening prayer.
The minutes were read by Ann Korinek.
Becky Blanton reviewed the treasurer's report.
Jennifer Filla, first vice president, reported that the telephone committee will make calls for upcoming events.
Sue Schafer, second vice president, and Slusher thanked the hostesses for the meal.
Pauline Nowlin, corresponding secretary, sent get-well cards to Patsy Brown and Kathy Miller.
Betty Migura and Theresa Spellacy reported the bake sale will be Saturday and Sunday.
Jo Ann Jalufka and Niecy Hajek reported the games party will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 27 in the activity center.
Betty Frederick reported the bunco party was Jan. 15 in St. Peter's Hall.
Jo Chanek will purchase candles that were approved last year.
Melicent Bryarly and Carolyn Dornak reported the Christmas decorations were taken down on Jan. 12.
Faye Schlein and Theresa Anderson will chair the coffee and donuts event Feb. 2 after the 7:30 and 9 a.m. Masses and the anniversary reception Sunday.
Frederick, Carol Lehnert and Theresa Anderson reported the mini retreat will be at 8:30 a.m. March 1 at St. Peter's Hall. The Rev. Dan Morales will preside.
Kathy Motley and Molly Heibel reported 290 people attended the Christmas party. Sixteen children received gifts.
Anniversary reception is Sunday following 9 a.m. Mass. The board meeting is at 5:30 p.m. Monday. Regular meeting is at 7 p.m. Feb. 10. Games party is at 6 p.m. Feb. 27 in the activity center. Knowledge Bowl is Feb. 23. Catholic Daughters Games Party is Jan. 26 at the KC hall.
Prayer petitions were prayed for by Morales, who led the closing prayer. The meeting was adjourned.
