Members of First English Lutheran Church NALC/LCMC prepare for their annual Fourth of July service, "Thanking God for Our Country," set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The service will emphasize the blessing that God has granted in allowing Christians to worship in freedom and safety, according to event coordinators. Worshippers are encouraged to wear red, white and blue clothing. The public is invited.
