VC offers Excel spreadsheet course

Victoria College is offering a hands-on instruction and practice with Excel 2010, the spreadsheet program from Microsoft Office.

In this noncredit course, set for Aug. 11-20, students will be introduced to the basic concepts of spreadsheet functions, creating formulas, charts, graphs and generating reports.

Course topics will include an introduction to terminology and machine use, program parameters, display characteristics, mathematical functions and formatting features and printing. All course materials will be included.

The class will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in Room 208 of the Continuing Education Center on VC's Main Campus.
