A two-car collision on South Ben Jordan Street sent a woman and two children to the hospital Saturday afternoon, said Patrol Officer Aaron Johnson of the Victoria Police Department.
Sandy Pena, 32, the driver of a 2012 Ford Edge, exited Caney Run Estates Apartments in the 100 block of South Ben Jordan Street about 3 p.m., heading south with her 10-year-old daughter.
Pena failed to yield the right of way to a 2008 GMC Acadia driven by Manuel Castillo, 31, of Bloomington, which was southbound on Ben Jordan Street.
Pena slammed into the side of Castillo's SUV, which resulted in sending his wife, Isabelle Castillo, 30, and two of their four children to DeTar Hospital Navarro.
The children transported were ages 10 and 11. The other two were ages 1 and 4. Their injuries were not life-threatening.
All of the vehicles' occupants were wearing their seat belts, and a citation was not issued.
